Digital Signage Advertising Management

Digital Signage Ad Management

More bang for everyone’s buck.

Digital signage advertising promotes brands and instigates purchases through screens located near the featured products and services, and viewed by consumers in active “buy” mode. BroadSign’s platform is the prime choice of ad-based networks, as it boasts features such as fine-grained targeting, audience measurement and proof of performance reports.

Ad Inventory Management.

You can’t sell what you can’t see. Visibility into your network is essential to managing a sales team that can instantly advise clients of available ad inventory.

  • View booking levels in multiple segments of your network (i.e “portrait screens” on “New York” “subways”) via customizable inventory reports.
  • See summaries and detailed information for each screen in the network.
  • Prevent unplanned overselling using an optional, automatic overbooking protection function.
  • Available in percentage, time and slot formats.

Adaptive Campaigns.

Don’t settle for software that simply delivers content to screens. BroadSign’s platform automatically adapts its loop to include contextually relevant content based on feedback from third party systems.

  • Automatically add or remove content based on external conditions such as the gender of the audience, weather conditions, traffic status and GPS location.
  • Target advertisers’ desired demographic so that messaging is more relevant and entertaining.
  • Incorporate specialised programming without increasing scheduling complexity.

Audience Measurement.

Take proof of play and targeted advertising to the next level with BroadSign’s Quividi integration. Quividi’s automated audience measurement system allows us to include viewer impressions within our proof of play reports and permits the triggering of content based on gender.

  • Gather real-time information about your audience and play targeted campaigns.
  • Automatically collect viewership counts and demographics for each piece of content.
  • Integrate seamlessly with proof of play reporting to demonstrate viewer impressions.

Competitive Separation.

Managing changing scheduling requirements can be complex, especially when new campaigns bump existing loop lengths past the desired duration. Setting Campaign Priorities automatically removes lower priority content to ensure your schedules remain in line with your business goals.

  • Sell remnant ad space to third party buyers without blocking off access to primary clients.
  • Instantly insert or remove public service announcements based on advertising inventory levels.
  • Automatically remove editorial to make room for last minute media buys.

Campaign Priorities.

Timing is everything and can make or break the success of a loop. Take advantage of competitive separation by setting loop policies that space out editorial content, competitive ads and even ads from the same advertiser.

  • Ensure that ad copy bundles of the same category do not play back to back.
  • Set it and forget it. Automatic playlist adaptation removes the need to manually adjust playlists when campaigns run on different dates and times.

Dynamic Rate Card.

Our dynamic rate card is designed to be sold by your firm’s advertising sales representative and used by the scheduling or traffic departments to reserve campaigns based on pre-defined criteria.

  • Create rate cards specifying options such as flight duration, display unit criteria targeting and pricing type.
  • Use BroadSign Administrator to create campaigns based on specific dynamic rate cards.

Fine-grained Targeting.

Simple groups do not offer the flexibility to target a network of many screens in multiple and different ways. Fine-grained targeting allows you to specify custom characteristics for display units, frames and ad copies so that campaigns are precisely targeted and your network is easy to manage.

  • Use for everything from geographical information and audience demographics to screen resolution and the language in which content must be formatted.
  • Simple combinations make fine-grained targeting even more powerful.
  • Frames on the screen can be targeted and managed independently, making multi-zone layouts a cinch regardless of network size.
  • Set it and forget it. Automatic playlist adaptation removes the need to manually adjust playlists when campaigns run on different dates and times.

Goal-based Campaigns.

Nothing lasts forever and most campaigns are no different. While campaigns can be set to stop playing on a certain date, it is also possible to end them once a predefined goal has been reached.

  • Easily specify a desired number of repetitions, impressions or interactions that, upon being reached, will cause the campaign to self-expire.
  • Goal-based campaigns are subject to a check performed every 60 minutes to verify if the goal has been attained and campaign reports specify whether or not the goal has been reached.

Proof of Performance.

Advertising-based networks rely on ad revenue and must prove that they are meeting clients’ expectations to stay in business. Non ad-based networks also require accurate proof of play to measure their own ROI.

BroadSign’s proof of play has been independently verified by third party measurement company, Arbitron.

  • Reports are aggregated by campaign as opposed to raw logs that require additional tools to mine.
  • Advertiser-friendly reports can be branded and distributed directly to clients.
  • Repetitions are tied to screen monitoring and can be set to register only if the screen is on.
  • The underestimate margin allows you to under-promise and over-deliver.
