Here we grow again… We’re currently looking to add an AWS Cloud Specialist to our IT team.

Your day to day will vary but your mission is simple:

As the AWS cloud specialist, you’ll work with the IT team to ensure our company’s system, network and production environments are running as they should, and will be the company’s gatekeeper on documentation for infrastructure and systems configuration. You’re probably someone who always has their head in the cloud, so you’ll drive and oversee the migration of our services and information to the cloud. You’ll also be tasked with monitoring and maintaining network performance, while using your problem-solving skills to diagnose and improve any current infrastructure issues.

Of course, if this role to speaks to you, you’re someone who has:

  • A degree in computer science
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-based environment, specifically in architecture and development of new application in AWS, cloud processes automation, and disaster-recovery implementation
  • Extensive experience with Linux servers and advanced knowledge of scripting within a Linux environment
  • Ability to build and monitor services on production servers
  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services (Postgresql, Bind, Postfix, Apache, Proftd, GlusterFS, etc.)
  • Experience maintaining documentation of infrastructure and systems configuration
