Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer
Burr Smith is the Chairman, President and CEO at BroadSign. Longstanding President of BroadSign’s main shareholder, Jedfam, Burr is deeply invested in the company’s success and has a strong propensity for identifying initiatives that move BroadSign, and the digital signage industry, forward.
In addition to his role at BroadSign, Burr is the Manager of Brisco-Davis Group, a position he has held for the past 17 years. Prior to this, he spent 15 years as Vice President of Sverdrup Investments Inc.
Burr holds an LLM in Taxation from the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, a J.D. from the Emory University School of Law and a B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Jean Beaudry manages all of BroadSign’s operations. A strong team motivator, Jean has extensive experience in all aspects of software development and is reputed for his implementation of solid business plans and first-rate development practices.
Prior to joining the BroadSign team, Jean held leadership positions at Autodesk, Avid/Softimage and Microsoft where he delivered the most ambitious technologies related to computer graphics used in games, films and architecture.
Jean studied Computer Science at the Université du Québec à Montréal.
Dana Tunks, CPA, CA
Chief Financial Officer
As BroadSign’s Chief Financial Officer, Dana Tunks oversees all financial reporting, treasury, corporate development, corporate finance and taxation and risk-management activities globally.
A seasoned professional, Dana has held roles as Chief Financial Officer and Advisory Board Member of software and technology companies in the healthcare, mobile commerce and emissions industries. She also spent over 23 years as a Senior Partner with Ernst & Young LLP, both in Audits and Consulting.
Dana is a Chartered Accountant and received her Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. Her community involvement has included the Audit Committee of Wilfrid Laurier University, Innovation Council at the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and acting as President, Vice President and Audit Committee Chair of the Kitchener-Waterloo YWCA.
Senior Vice President
As Senior Vice President, Skip Beloff is responsible for the sustainment and acquisition of BroadSign’s key accounts.
No stranger to the industry, Skip brings to BroadSign over 27 years in media, advertising and technology sales. Prior to joining BroadSign, he founded and presided over Belstar Consultants Inc., an advertising and new technology consultancy, where he helped some of North America’s most prolific media and advertising companies innovate with non–traditional media solutions. Skip also served as Vice President of Mobile Promotions at Airborne Entertainment, a leading provider and publisher of premier mobile entertainment content and applications, as well as Executive Vice President and Partner at Dan Media, one of North America’s first and largest digital signage networks. Passionate and driven, Skip’s leadership was a key factor in the growth of Internet service provider TotalNet Inc., which grew to become Canada’s largest ISP, as well as CTV, Canada’s largest television network, where he spent 15 years in senior sales positions.
Skip holds a Bachelors of Commerce in Marketing from Concordia University.
Vice President, Technology
As BroadSign’s Vice President of Technology, Bryan Mongeau oversees all of the company’s technical aspects, including product development, quality assurance and IT operations where he provisions, deploys and maintains BroadSign’s private application cloud.
A co-founder of BroadSign, Bryan has greatly contributed to the development of its Digital Signage Software, both as a developer in the early days and later as the head of the R&D team. An industry veteran, he has over 13 years of experience in software development lifecycle management, nine of which have been in the digital signage industry. Bryan is a highly qualified and experienced manager with extensive hands-on expertise in the development and delivery of enterprise-grade SaaS applications and services.
Vice President, Client Services
As Vice President of Client Services, Franco Romanelli oversees BroadSign’s support, technical consultation and managed services departments. In doing so, Franco ensures that the highest level of service is provided to BroadSign clients.
Franco joined BroadSign in 2004 as a support agent. Given that there was no support department in place at that time, he was handed the task of building one. As a result of Franco’s success, he then spearheaded the creation of the managed services department in 2007.
Franco holds a Computer Engineering degree from Concordia University.
Vice President, Global Sales
Maarten Dollevoet, Vice President, Global Sales, is a seasoned sales and business development expert in the digital signage industry and travels extensively to educate networks on the power of BroadSign’s automated, cloud-based platform.
Fluent in Dutch, German and English, Maarten spent seven years as the Director of Sales EMEA at BroadSign and seven years as the Sales Manager UK – Benelux at AOpen beforehand. He holds a Bachelor degree in Sales and Marketing from Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen and a MBA from Radboud University Nijmegen.
Vice President, Programmatic Sales Operations
Vince Banks brings more than 13 years of digital advertising experience to BroadSign. As Vice President of Programmatic Sales Operations, Vince educates publishers, DSPs and agencies on programmatic DOOH and facilitates transactions in the space.
Vince has long focused on leading digital innovation and adoption, being responsible for maximizing ROI and ensuring client success in an evolving media market. His past leadership experience includes positions at Sonobi, Kiosked, MLG and IDG.
Vice President, Finance
As Vice President of Finance, Tracy provides leadership to BroadSign’s accounting and administration teams, and works to ensure that the company’s financial planning, reporting and analysis supports long-term strategic objectives.
Tracy has over 20 years experience working in global and regional companies, having held senior management positions in pharmaceutical, retail and not-for-profit organizations. Through Anema McIntosh Inc., a company she cofounded in 2008 to provide financial guidance to entrepreneurs, she gained experience in technology, manufacturing and construction industries.
Tracy completed her CPA, CGA designation in 1998 and holds a Business Administration degree.
