Prior to BroadSign’s suite of digital software solutions, software was heavily focused on playlist management and often required an expensive player device. The product was the first to employ a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform in the digital signage industry and was also the first digital signage solutions platform built around media workflow. Other innovative features included using a unique automated campaign execution mechanism as opposed to being playlist-based, providing Proof of Performance reports in industry standard formats and supporting output from widely-used content management tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
